Fiera di San Francesco 2026 in Tiarno di Sotto

The Fiera di San Francesco has ancient roots: it was the village’s traditional annual market, a gathering occasion for the people of Tiarno di Sotto. Today the local Pro Loco has turned it into a celebration of the products and typical dishes of Valle di Ledro, keeping the traditional market alongside music and a food trail.

The star dish is polenta, served in several variations — yellow, potato, buckwheat — that reflect the valley’s rural culture and culinary traditions. The historic centre is closed to traffic from 8:00 AM, and visitors can climb the bell tower for free for a view over Valle di Ledro, with guided tours throughout the day.

The event is part of Mese del Gusto 2026, Garda Trentino’s autumn food and wine festival, running from 25 September to 8 November 2026 with 12 events dedicated to local flavours.
