Sagra del Tartufo di Tignale (28th Edition)

In Gardola, the old centre of Tignale, the Garda truffle is celebrated by opening the courtyards of private houses. The Truffle Festival reaches its 28th edition in 2026: residents make their entrance halls and private spaces available, village restaurants prepare dedicated menus, and around the food there are music, theatre, exhibitions, workshops and guided walks across the plateau.

Practical information

The festival is traditionally held between the last weekend of September and the first of October, over two weekends. The dates and programme of the 28th edition are published by the Tignale tourist office: it is worth checking before setting out, on +39 0365 73354, by email to info@tignale.org or at tignale.org.

Getting there

Tignale sits on the Brescia shore, above the western Gardesana road: from Gargnano a scenic road climbs about ten kilometres. During the festival the village fills up, and parking is best looked for at the entrance to the built-up area.

2026 programme

Saturday 26 September and Saturday 3 October: stalls, art exhibition and Truffle Show 10 am–8:30 pm; truffle tasting corners in Via Piave and Vicolo Valle 11:30 am–6 pm; food points in the old town 12–2:30 pm and 6:30–8:30 pm; Truffle Hunter’s Walk 2–5 pm (booking via the Visit Tignale app); live music in Piazza Umberto I at 8:45 pm (26/9 Jimmy Snuka Superfly Big Band, 3/10 The Squirters). Sunday 27 September and Sunday 4 October: walk to the truffle grounds with Aperitartufo 9:30 am–1 pm; stalls 10 am–5 pm (until 6 pm on 4/10); food points 12–2:30 pm; on 27/9 at 3 pm the play «Il Gabbiano Jonathan Livingston».
