Centomiglia Velica

The CentoMiglia is the regatta Lake Garda waits for all year. In 2026 it reaches its 76th edition and is sailed over two days, starting from Bogliaco, a hamlet of Gargnano, under the organisation of the Circolo Vela Gargnano.

The two races

Saturday 5 September — Trofeo Gargnano, on the lower lake: start at 8.30 am from Bogliaco, then Gargnano, Desenzano and back to Bogliaco.

Sunday 6 September — Trofeo Gorla, on the upper lake: start at 8.30 am from Bogliaco towards Limone and Torbole, returning via Navene and Malcesine to Bogliaco.

The two results combined decide the final CentoMiglia standings. Racing is on corrected time with an ORC Overall classification, while Line Honour goes to the first boat across the line in real time: a formula that lets very different crews and boats race together.

Where to watch

The best spots are Bogliaco harbour at the start and the lakefronts of Gargnano, Limone and Malcesine as the fleet passes. The boats can also be followed live through the GPS tracking published by the organisers.
