Desenzano Film Festival 2026

The Desenzano Film Festival returns for its 8th edition with the theme “Bring me somewhere”: an international short-film showcase that this year received over 1,000 entries from 72 countries. The selection produced 16 shorts in competition, gathered in a single section with no divide between fiction, documentary, animation and experimental work, plus the “Composizioni Sinestetiche” section for works where image and sound are conceived together.

The festival mixes screenings, masterclasses led by jury members and concerts, along with book presentations. It suits anyone who loves auteur cinema and wants to discover new visual languages in an intimate setting, in the historic centre of Desenzano del Garda, steps from the lake.
