Festival Pianistico Internazionale di Brescia e Bergamo 2026: the closing concerts

The 63rd Festival Pianistico Internazionale di Brescia e Bergamo, built around the theme “Oriente & Occidente, from Chopin to Arvo Pärt”, closes its 2026 edition with a packed September. The programme mixes major international pianists with more intimate performances in historic venues across the area.

On 8 September the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo hosts Yuja Wang with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. The Festival OFF strand takes the music outside the theatres: on 13 September pianist Josef Mossali plays at Villa Bettoni, on Lake Garda in Bogliaco di Gargnano, and on 25 September the Piccoli Musici ensemble performs with Davide Dotti at the Chiesa dei Santi Zeno e Rocco in Mazzano. The closing concert, on 1 October, is entrusted to pianist Beatrice Rana at the Teatro Sociale in Brescia.
