Rievocazione Storica di Ottone II — Lazise Medievale

On the first weekend of May 2026, Lazise goes back a thousand years: the streets of the historic center and the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele are transformed into a medieval village to celebrate Otto II, the Germanic emperor who in 983 granted Lazise the status of a free commune-one of the first in Italy.

Imperial parade on horseback, warrior encampment around the Old Port, artisans in period costume working pottery, ropes, textiles and leather using ancient techniques, archery, dances and medieval banquets.

For those who love history and authentic Garda villages, this is one of the most impressive events of the year. Free admission at all points of the event.
