Sirmione Photo Marathon 2026

The Sirmione Photo Marathon is a one-day photography marathon through the streets, beaches and corners of Sirmione’s historic centre: participants receive surprise themes to interpret through a shot, within the span of the day. It is one of six contests making up the Sirmione Award for Photography, now in its 17th edition, the annual photo competition dedicated to Lake Garda.
Suited to amateur photographers and smartphone users alike: what matters most is reading the light and the details of a village known worldwide. Anyone who cannot join the marathon can still enter the Lake Garda Photo Challenge, open until 31 October.

Sirmione Photo Marathon: Sunday 11 October 2026, Sirmione. Entry fee €12. Meeting time and day schedule are confirmed by the organiser. In parallel, the Lake Garda Photo Challenge stays open until 31 October 2026, with a €10 entry fee. Organiser: Sirmione Award for Photography.
