Notte di Fiaba

Notte di Fiaba is Riva del Garda’s big summer event: for five days the old town turns into a fairy-tale world of lights, music and performances. The 2026 edition runs from 26 to 30 August and is dedicated to Tarzan.

Opening and closing

It opens on Wednesday the 26th at 9pm in Piazza Tre Novembre with “Il risveglio della giungla”: a parade through the streets of Riva in which the Garda Nymph welcomes Tarzan, with Vertik & Dance. It closes on Sunday the 30th at 8.30pm with the “Giungla in città” parade, setting off from the Palavela and arriving in Piazza Tre Novembre, where the 2027 fairy tale is announced. The “Jungle Fever” concert and DJ set follow at 10pm.

What happens in town

The programme is split between performances and storytelling, workshops and games, music and entertainment. Piazza Tre Novembre, Piazza Battisti and Piazza Cavour host concerts and DJ sets into the small hours; the Rocca park, Spiaggia Olivi and the Giardini Verdi host aerial acrobatics, storytelling theatre and baby dance. The Civic Library, the Palavela and the MAG museum host the workshops for children and teenagers.

The Journey into the Fairy Tale

The immersive trail runs on Thursday the 27th at 4pm, 6pm and 9pm; Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th at 10.30am, 4pm, 6pm and 9pm; Sunday the 30th at 10.30am, 2.30pm, 4.15pm and 6pm.

Practical information

Most events are free. Several workshops require advance booking and some are ticketed, usually between 5 and 10 euros. The craft market, the Food Truck Street, the carousel and the food village run every day.

The official 2026 programme does not include a fireworks display.
