The Christmas Market of Riva del Garda – Di Gusto in Gusto is a unique Christmas market that combines the tradition of Alpine markets with the food and wine culture of Lake Garda in Trentino. For over a month, the squares of Riva’s historic center are illuminated with decorated wooden cabins and sparkling Christmas trees. Unlike classic markets, Di Gusto in Gusto emphasizes gastronomy: each cabin offers selected Trentino and Lake Garda specialties, from hot strudel to zelten, from canederli to mountain cheese, from Lake Garda extra virgin olive oil to mountain honey. Trentino mulled wine, prepared with Teroldego, is the undisputed star of cold evenings.
