Walnut Festival 2026 in Cavrasto

Festa della Noce closes the Mese del Gusto in the hamlet of Cavrasto, part of Bleggio Superiore. For two days the archways of the old farmhouses turn into small shops selling local produce, and the village becomes a large farmers’ market with the Bleggio walnut as the star.

The Bleggio walnut is known for its elongated shape and sweet, aromatic, slightly spicy flavour. It is served plain, but also in cakes, bread, nocino liqueur and the characteristic walnut salami. The programme includes tastings, workshops, guided walks and sales of local, short-supply-chain products.

The event holds the Mindful Events certification: it applies concrete measures to reduce environmental impact, encourage recycling and promote sustainable travel to the village.

Festa della Noce takes place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026 in the hamlet of Cavrasto (Bleggio Superiore). Stall opening times and prices to be confirmed with the organiser.
