Historic villa with a centuries-old park overlooking the lake.
Villa Albertini is one of the most significant historic residences in Garda, surrounded by a centuries-old park with monumental trees overlooking the lake. The villa hosted Charles Albert of Sardinia during the First Italian War of Independence (1848). The villa itself cannot be visited: after a long restoration, only the park is open to the public, its terraced gardens descending toward the water in one of the most beautiful examples of English Romantic garden on Lake Garda.
Why visit the park of Villa Albertini
What’s open to the public is the park, not the villa. The historic garden, reopened after a major restoration, offers woodland paths, monumental trees and panoramic terraces overlooking Lake Garda. A walk through nature and nineteenth-century memory, just steps from the centre of Garda.
Tips for your visit
- Only the park can be visited: the villa is not open to the public.
- Entry to the park requires a ticket: check current opening hours and prices on the official website parcodeglialbertini.it or by calling +39 339 382 1868.
- Wear comfortable shoes: the woodland paths include uphill sections and uneven surfaces.
- A visit to the park generally takes between 45 and 90 minutes.
