Sentiero degli Alpini

The Sentiero degli Alpini is a historic First World War trail that winds along the slopes above Limone sul Garda. Built by Italian Alpine troops during the Great War, the path crosses trenches, rock-hewn tunnels and observation posts, offering breathtaking views over Lago di Garda. The route climbs from Limone through conifer forests to the Rifugio degli Alpini at Passo Nota, where you can stop to rest and refuel.
